We are sure that you will love your Muskoka Chair as much as we do but if you change your mind the following regulations give consumers certain rights and protection when they shop for goods 'at a distance':

Distance Selling Regulations 2000

Under the Distance Selling Regulations as set out by the Office of Fair Trading, UK customers have the right to cancel their order at any time from placing the order until seven working days after the customer receives the order. This does not apply to items that have been made to your specification (i.e. a non-standard chair colour) or cost of carriage.

To conform with the Regulations a customer who wishes to cancel an order must notify us in writing (by 1st class post), fax or e-mail:

Please ensure you include your name, address and contact telephone number.

If the goods have already been received by you, you must return them to us at your expense in the original condition and packaging. When we receive your written cancellation notice we will contact you regarding the return of the goods. If we receive damaged goods we will not be able to refund the cost of the goods to you unless it is clear that the damage has been done in transit. Providing that the goods are received in good condition we will refund the cost of the goods (excluding the cost of delivery to you currently £9) within 30 days by the original payment method.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Warranty

For chairs assembled by ourselves we offer a 12 months warranty against defects in materials or assembly as a result of normal use of the furniture. Defects are any faults that affect your use of the chair, e.g. split wood. However as this product is made of wood, some surface cracks and weathering should be expected and would not be deemed to be a defect. If you feel that the chair has developed a defect you should write or telephone us in the first instance to explain what the problem is. We will then consult with you as to a suitable way forward. This warranty will only cover repair or replacement of the defective furniture.

With regard to the kits, we will replace damaged or defective parts up to one month after the date of purchase. As we cannot be assured that the instructions in respect of assembling and finishing the furniture are adhered to, we are unable to offer the same duration of warranty as we provide for chairs assembled and finished by ourselves.
